Reunion Game

Dennis was visiting from Hong Kong, so Yu Teik organized a 5-a-side game on a covered pitch at Turf City on Wednesday, 26 September 2012, from 9 to 10 pm.

Yu Teik’s line ups:

Reds:  Tom, Yu Teik, Dennis, George, Danny

Whites/Blacks:  Heath, Tarom, Clement, Raj, Chi Kin, Rajiv (5 + 1 rolling substitute)

I was surprised to see Danny there.  He was there as Tom’s friend.

There was never more than 2 goals in it.  14-14 after an hour.  We played on an extra 20 minutes, and Reds won 18-16.  High quality game.  Tom, George, Clement, Raj and Chi Kin were or still are regulars for the Monday night game at Turf City.

I booked the pitch, as a precursor to a regular game on a small covered pitch at Turf City on Tuesdays.
