OPSAGE: 16 October 2009

Other projects, sports, activities, games and events to participate in, watch or attend.

We’ve been having a lot of representative games of late, including an 8-a-side last Sunday.   There are two elements to this:

  • We only need to put together a team of 5 (instead of trying to get to 10 players for a routine session).
  • The competitive edge is different from our usual routine sessions.

Having opponents who are ready and willing to play against us helps.  We have a few regular opponents.  So far, we’ve lost all our games to the teams of Dennis W (2 times) and Mark T (4 times).

I’m waiting for Mark T to confirm whether we have another game this Sunday (18 October 2009), 9.50 to 11.00 am, at Turf City.

We will have another game against Mark T’s team on Wednesday, 21 October 2009, 8.50 to 10.00 pm at Sports Planet.

I’m aiming to put together good teams for both games.
