Session Previews: 21 To 27 September 2009
As there is an extra routine session today, the “Session Preview” post is out a day earlier.
The “Session Previews” post covers all routine sessions for the week, including mid-week and weekend sessions.
After the players for a session are finalized, if there is sufficient time, line ups will be proposed without colours being assigned as a comment below.
Anyone can express their views on whether the two teams are balanced or not. All views will be taken into account before the line ups are finalized 3 to 5 hours before the session, with colours assigned. It is in any event advisable for players to bring both colours for the session (as shown on the “Routine Schedule” page).
If anyone makes any changes after colours have been assigned, please SMS the players concerned as they may have already checked their colour and may not be aware of the changes.

Sushil and Sivaraj both SMSed me after 5 pm to ask if there was still a place available. I considered a 6-a-side but there were reservations after the last 6-a-side at Sports Planet, so I left it as a 5-a-side. Anyway, Sushil is still on his comeback trail after injury, while Sivaraj is playing Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Ron SMSed about half an hour ago to say he was held up at work. Sushil said he’d play if Sivaraj was not available, as it would mean he was fated it oplay. Sivaraj couldn’t make it by this stage, as he didn’t have the car, so Sushil is in for Ron.

To avoid a repeat of what happened last time, I’ve tried calling and SMSing John L, but I have been unable to contact him today, so he’s out. Gilbert G SMSed to say Gerald is unwell, so he’s out too, and today’s session will proceed as a 7-a-side.
