Kevin sent the following e-mail to Rajseran, Nick C, Tim C, John S, Andy M and me on Saturday:

Thanks for playing with or against one of my church teams this year. One of the teams we have is a Veterans team that takes part in a league from Oct – Dec (fortnightly matches on Sunday afternoons). To qualify, you need to be 39 years and above and the team is constantly recruiting as the older players (current oldest is 54 years) hang up their boots. If you’re interested to join those of a similar age for a league, or occasional friendly, now may be a good time.

The team is having a get-together cum friendly on 5 Sep, Saturday, 3pm at East Spring Secondary.

If you are keen to join the team, or just for this friendly, do let me know.

The report on our match against Kevin’s church team in April can be found here.

Of those who received the e-mail, only Andy M and I are above 39. Ages can be found here.

Anyone over 39 who is interested, add your comment below.
