- Wednesday, 24 June 2009, 8.50 pm to 10.00 pm, at Sports Planet, East Coast.
- Thursday, 25 June 2009, 8.50 pm to 10.00 pm, at The Cage, Kallang.

Niel L is contingent for Thursday in case Tuesday’s session is cancelled due to insufficient numbers. The rest who are down for Tuesday are in any event also playing on other days.
Tomorrow’s session is cancelled due to insufficient numbers. Neil L is switched to Thursday. Everyone else down for Tuesday is playing on other days as well.
Thursday night is now full. 2 places left for Wednesday night.

I spoke to Imran. In addition to yesterday, he’s playing tonight, Wednesday night and Saturday, so you can have his place for Thursday.

I’ve tried to simplify they system as far as possible, so the routine session system as at 23 May 2009 provides:

At present, the weekend session and the FAFI game on Monday are not taken into account. As the Tuesday session has been cancelled, there are only two mid-week sessions this week, and only Neil M and Sushil are playing both.
Anyway, I try to keep it flexible, so if anyone is playing several times a week, including an oversubscribed session, I ask if they’d mind giving up their place in an oversubscribed session.

Sivaraj SMSed me later last night to ask if he can play tonight as well. Including Ace and Sivaraj, we have 12. I suggest we go ahead 6 v 6. Like I’ve pointed out before, the area per player for 6 v 6 at Sports Planet is about the same as 5 v 5 at The Cage.
As yesterday’s session was cancelled, I’d like to try to accommodate more tonight.
I looked at having a second game at Sports Planet (unusually, a second pitch is available), and SMSed several who I thought might be interested, but there has only been one positive response, which would leave us with 4 players (including Ace, Sivaraj, myself) for the second game. Not enough.
We have up to 17 now – Neil M, Clive, Sushil, John J, Imran, Ian, Andrew T, Azmi, Weeliam, Yaseen, Ace, Sivaraj, Sze Kuan, Shankar, me and two of Yaseen’s friends, Zul, Feroz.
3 more, and we can play on two pitches.
I can’t get anymore, and Sze Kuan is now out, so we’ll stick with the first 12.
5 v 5 remains the norm at Sports Planet and 6 v 6 is the exception.
