I received the following SMS from Anil this morning:
Was wondering if you are in need of a team to play against on Monday (9 to 10 pm). Do let me know.
As I have a booking for 9 to 10 pm at The Cage for Monday, 16 November 2009, I SMSed Bobby to see if he was interested in putting together a team. I haven’t heard from him. If anyone else is interested, let me know by noon tomorrow.
Tom put up the line ups for the FAFI game on Monday, 16 November 2009 on Thursday.
I received a phone call from The Cage’s Iceman to see if we were interested in an 11-a-side game against The Cage’s management on Tuesday, 17 November 2009, at 7 pm. I put him in touch with Poh Keng.
If that doesn’t go on, I have the usual booking on Tuesday, 17 November 2009 from 9 to 10 pm at The Cage.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a booking for Sports Planet from 9 to 10 pm on 19 November 2009, so the bookings for Wednesday and Thursday are both at The Cage:
- Wednesday, 18 November 2009, 9 to 10 pm, The Cage.
- Thursday, 19 November 2009, 9 to 10 pm, The Cage.

The new guy, Adam W, e-mailed me his details yesterday, and wanted to play last night, but unfortunately, I only saw his e-mail this morning. Very unfortunate, as there appears to have been a place available.
As tonight’s is cancelled, he’s in for tomorrow night, but doesn’t look like we’ve got many.

Today i received sms from Mart T and Jason D that they could not make it but nothing i could do as i was working today .
I need someone to take over my Sunday Duties as i am retiring from this due to work commitment .
I also suggest that next time unless one day advance has been given otherwise choose someone else to take over you when you have confirmed and cant come cause it changes the game
I also suggest that we should just stick to 8 Aside and priority to be given to those regulars who normally attend all matches .
I also Suggest that if you are just planning to win and cant take it when you loss on this match , please play NETBALL otherwise STOP complaining .
GUYS its not easy to plan games and sms everyone , and when game dont turn out it should be , dont blame me . I am not getting paid on this plannings but at least i am doing my best . Its easier to point fingers then please be man enough to volunteer .
I had sms this evening after the match on how it want on who F it up and bla bla bla . Its just a game guys and if you have loss , probably you gotta look at your self and think again if you even good enough instead of blamming others .
Last but not the least , I am really getting Sick of this .

Common who are you kidding . We are not kids here . I even have the sms stating that WE loss because SUSHIL got injured and the rest played like shit . and i will never want to play unless i have better players in my team . Is this sportmanship where one only play unless high chance of winning.
How did you loss in an unfair manner , the Black did not even win a single match but yet enjoyed the game . Its not all abt who is organising but its all abt playing and at the end having a good workout .
I only heard that Sushil got injured the first 5 mins but the details of his injury was only given by Imran being his teamate after i called him right after i finished my work .
Anyway we shall invite you the next time to play if we can have the best players in one team and need someone to balance the team , you should be invited then . Cheers

We can go on… But i have lost count someone said the same thing about having an unbalanced team.. Rest played like shit includes MYSELF! football is a team game so every1 has to have a part. When someones goes around lamenting, there’s nothing wrong. When others lament, suddenly all is wrong.. People has to be man enough to accept that they also said the same things but suddenly when others say,its wrong. Like i said, contradicting is the word. Anyone can go on and reply anything… Im not going to be embroiled or reply to this nonsense further especially that it seems like hypocrisy to me. Others also has issues but they dont say it out. At least im man enough to say it out. Anyway, from December onwards, I will only have the small pitch. If anyone is keen to play on the big pitch, you can check with The Premier Pitch whether another small pitch is available. You can then also take over my booking. Two small pitches make a big pitch. However, you have to co-ordinate the session.

Raj has a point in that its not easy being a coordinator/organiser which is why i take my hat off to Jiv, Sushil, Raj and others for volunteering. I know frm experience that playing the SMS game and scrounging to get players at the last minute is a real pain in the *.* So again a big THANK YOU to all those who have sacrificed by taking on this onerous task 
As for the game, its simple enough the oft said cliche, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, the ball is round. The important thing is how you take it. Sometimes you are to blame, other times, others are to blame, blame it on the individual or the team make up/selection or lack of chemistry etc etc….doesn’t matter cos end of the day, HOW you take it shows what kinda a MAN you are
Nuff said!!
Lets just play on and have good fun (while trying to win of course)!! In the interim, perhaps it wld be good for us to rotate this organisation/coordination duty around?

On a lighter side, Sushil managed to drive safely home and not get Imran in an accident. Joking. It was a good game but also felt kinda short due to pitch switching. I’d welcome a winner vs winner and losers go for 3rd/4th placing, if we are to play another mini tournament. Less interruption and longer playing time, just a suggestion.
