Session Previews: 7 To 9 July 2009
Posted by rajiv on Tue 7 July 2009
Once the players for each mid-week session are finalized, the names of those confirmed will either be added as a comment below, or can be ascertained from the Routine Schedule page.
Any two regulars can then contact each other over the telephone and take turns to pick players for their side (“the selection method”).
Either of the two can then put up the line ups as a comment below on behalf of both of them.
If no line ups are put up, I’ll use “the default method”, using seedings based on the rankings, to determine the line ups and put them up on the day of the session.
Everyone is free to discuss the line ups as comments below. Player swaps can be agreed between the two sides.

The further revision to the rankings wouldn’t have made a difference to last night’s line ups.

Read the post above.
Also, morale can be significant factor.

morale is a factor BUT morale dont win games. Heart and knowledge of football n cooperation n playing as a unit are more pivotal factors.. Cheers
Poh Keng said
I thought u guys have good morale last nite.. u guys were unsettled for the first 15mins and we got 6-0 lead and thereafter, u guys scored 5 goals and we scored only 4 goals..and u guys played really well after the initial hiccups..perhaps there could be a good way to balance up the team.. i dont know how but with quite a few unfamiliar faces b4 the game, I cant tell who r the better ones and there were quite a few games that I had played for the last few mths that the weaker team actually won the tie. just imagine u r playing for singapore and taking on Iran or some big teams if u r on the weaker side.

Tom, Sushil, would you like to re-jig the sides again? It would be good if you could SMS the players affected by any changes.
Thanks.

No change, Jiv. Straight swap between the two.
