Authors

Rajseran is the latest victim participant to be added as an author.  We now have 9 authors – Tom (redseason), Bret (bummerbret), Raj (Santi), Reza, Shankar, Andy N, Philipp, Andy M and Rajseran.

Any author who plays in a session can add a post providing a bare summary of the session by noon the following day – the line ups, the final score/result, and the player poll. If anyone finds that they have time at night after the session, or the next morning, to do a more detailed report, please add a comment to the post under which the session was scheduled to say that you’re doing a report, otherwise, someone else might beat you to it!

If there is no summary or report up by noon, I’ll put up a bare summary, but if I did play the session, I am unlikely to be able to include the final score/result.

Having the session report up early gives the other players an early opportunity to comment on the session if they so wish.  Like I said, session summaries can be kept to the bare minimum.

Since the start of this year, I have stopped updating the list of session reports by each participant.

I’d rather the authors write other stuff about football, other sport or other healthy activity.  Such posts can be written when you have the time and inclination, rather than with the time pressure of getting a session report up by lunchtime the next day.

It would be good if each author could put up at least one new post a month.  Not too difficult is it?  Like I said, it can be anything related to sport or healthy activity. It can be as long or as short as you like, but 200 to 400 words would be good.

I’ll create a new page listing all posts by each author since the start of the year.

Anyone who has played in at least one-tenth of the sessions in the current attendance period who would like to be added as an author, just let me know, and I will tell you what you need to do to be added.
