The mailing list has grown significantly since the start of the year. However, there are people on it who have either never played before, or who have not played for a very long time. Time for a cull!
If you would like to remain on the mailing list, please download this document, insert your details and e-mail it to me or to fiofafi@totalworlds.com.
I’m also taking the opportunity to collate your preferences for sessions from Monday to Thursday. For each day, please state whether you’re “Available”, “Not Available” or “Preferred”, or you can number your preferences – “1″ for most preferred and so on.
Please revert with at least your details by 11 June 2008. If you want to send me your preferences later, that’s fine. After 11 June 2008, only those who send me their details will be on the mailing list.
Even if you are no longer on the mailing list, you are of course welcome to read the posts on this blog or comment on them.
Thanks.

For a variety of reasons, we had a high number of pull-outs this week. In addition to John S and Sze Kuan, Nicolas was in some pain after Monday. That would have left us with 7. Thankfully, Collin agreed to play, so we had at least 8 – the barest minimum.
With several others either away or injured, we couldn’t make 10, the minimum number I aim to have. As it was all occurring on the day itself, I couldn’t cancel either.
The occasional injury is part of the game, but the risk can be minimised by warming up and down properly (this applies to me as much as to everyone else) and not over-exerting or over-stretching ourselves on the court or pitch.
Anyway, we lined up as follows at The Cage last night:
Lights – Reza, Andreas, Simon and Andy C.
Darks – Andy N, Ben Y, Collin and me.
Andreas’ colleague Look-Liew joined us later, and replaced Andreas for a short while.
With more space, there was a lot more passing and movement, but it was also a lot more exhausting.
Everyone played very well, and there was never more than 2 goals in it. Andy N was particularly impressive, both in defence and in attack.
It finished 13-13, a fair result.
