Tomorrow & Next Week (Schedule)

Posted by rajiv on Tue 6 May 2008

We’re stuck at 7 for tomorrow (Andrew P, Tim C, Reza, John S, Justin, Dedy and me), so the session is CANCELLED.

More than one of you has told me that it clashes with the Elton John concert (blame the wives!).

Next week’s schedule is as follows:

a. Monday, 12 May 2008, at Bukit Timah campus, 8 to 10 pm, Court No. 2. I managed to get Court No. 2 for both hours! Cofirmations by Friday please.

b. For the midweek game at The Cage, we have a choice between 7 to 8 pm on Wednesday, 14 May 2008, or 9 to 10 pm on Thursday, 15 May 2008. Only one session will go on, depending on which one gets a better response. Let me know whether you are available for one or both (and if both, whether you have a preference between the two). Depending on the response for each, one will go on, and the other will be cancelled.

Thanks.

5 May 2008 (Summary Report)

Posted by rajiv on Tue 6 May 2008

We had 13 at Bukit Timah campus yesterday, including Desmond and Sng, who had played with us previously on Monday nights, and who were there to pick up a game.

We started with Mark, Gilbert, Collin, Kin, Chris & Teik (Reds) v Tom, Raj, Sze Kuan, Desmond, Sng & me (Non-Reds). When Heath arrived, he replaced Desmond.

Reds took a 4-2 lead before Non-Reds came back to lead 8-5. The game finished 10-8 to Non-Reds. Raj was in great goalscoring form, putting away about 6 or 7. Tom, as usual, couldn’t score. More surprisingly, Collin and Kin were missing them at the other end, especially once Sze Kuan went in goal. However, Teik and Gilbert scored a couple of blinders.

Tom started the night in a foul mood, but was much more cheerful by the end.

The above is just a summary. I’ve invited Tom to write a more “thorough” match report. Let’s see if he gets round to it.

I won’t be circulating the match summaries or reports by e-mail anymore. Read it here instead.
