Continuing from here, next week’s schedule is as follows:
Monday, 21 April 2008, 8 to 10 pm at Bukit Timah campus. Confirmations by the end of tomorrow please. I am hoping to cap numbers at 14, but we may well exceed that number.
Wednesday, 23 April 2008, 9 to 10 pm at The Cage (in Kallang, http://new.thecage.com.sg/home/where-the-heck-is-the-cage). Confirmations by Tuesday afternoon please. We need between 10 to 12 to confirm for the game to go on.
Confirmation by submitting a response/comment below (http://fiofafi.wordpress.com/2008/04/17/21-23-april-2008/#respond) is preferred.
In order to reduce the risk of one-sided games, I will randomize the team selections by pre-arranging teams based on the order in which I receive confirmations (alternating). Let’s see if that works.
By the way, Teik took some photos on Monday, and these are posted on the FAFI group page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10384763978). You have to be a member of Facebook to view them though.

Confirmed so far for Monday (21 April 2008): Reza, Gilbert, Mark, Sze Kuan, Nicolas, Amit, Teik, Tim C, Tom & me (10). 4 more places available.
We have the additional incentive of Tom supplying “Pratas and Tehs” afterwards – where or how, please ask him.
So far only John S and Ben Y have confirmed for Wednesday (23 April 2008). For those who wanted to play yesterday (cancelled due to lack of numbers) – Bret, Collin, Llion, Steve, Tim C and Justin – are you available for Wednesday at the Cage (in Kallang)? If not, please let me know if either the day (Wednesday) or the venue (the Cage) is not suitable, so that I can take that into account in the future. Simon, you said you’ll be available for the game in the East next week. Are you confirmed for Wednesday?
Other than Tom, and the occasional comments from Teik, Raj and Bret, I notice a general reluctance to reply by way of submitting a comment/response here. There will be a lot more transparency and discussion if everyone submitted their replies here. If you have any difficulty submitting your replies here, please let me know.

Jiv, I am in for the game on teh 21st.
Rajiv, in addition to the pratas and teh afterwards at the prata and teh stall across the road, I shall also be bringing a BIG surprise package. It’s a secret.
Leaving that aside, I want to propose that we set the ceiling at 14 for Bukit Timah games and, more importantly, implement the cut-off rigourously. First 14 are in and the rest will have to take a chance on no-shows etc.

A few people are away or have had to drop out, so we are only 10 for today – Reza, Gilbert, Mark, Nicolas, Amit, Tim C, Bret, Tom, Raj and me – a good number.
Everyone please be on time (8 pm at Bukit Timah campus, Court No. 1). Using the alternating method I proposed earlier, the line ups will be:
Reza, Mark , Amit, Bret and Raj (black/dark colours) v Gilbert, Nicolas, Tim C, Tom and me (white/light colours).
As the words suggest, can the black/dark colours wear black or dark jerseys, while the white/light colours wear white or light jerseys.
We have 11 for Wednesday (23 April 2008 at 9 pm) at the Cage in Kallang – John S, Ben Y, Llion, Justin, Dedy, Bret, Simon, Steve, Sze Kuan, Geoff and me – so the game is ON. Only one more place available, so get back to me by the end of tomorrow if you want to play on Wednesday. The first to confirm is in.

Tomorrow’s game is on at 9 pm at The Cage in Kallang (Pitch 1) – using the same method as my e-mail of yesterday – John S, Llion, Dedy, Steve, Sze Kuan and Gilbert (A) v Ben Y, Justin, Bret, Simon, Geoff and me (B). We don’t have bibs for Wednesdays, but we are not fancy – Team A, try to come in light colours, Team B, try to come in dark colours, if not, we’ll just make do.
